Welcome To Link To Nature!
Hello there, my name is Storm, I’m 20 years old and I’ve been going camping since I was a kid. I’m in love with it, so much that I have a tent in my backyard in which I camp regularly, with friends or alone. There’s even an outdoor shower and a self-made fireplace that I can use as a barbecue. There’s no wifi, which means there are no phones and only cozy conversations with friends.
On this website, I want to encourage people to go out in nature for a while and enjoy its simplicity and beauty. As time passes, people become more and more detached from nature, I regret that. Being in nature without distractions like your phone can be very beneficial for you. Do you know that being outdoors offers actual health benefits?
My mission is to help you enjoy nature in a safe, comfortable and respectful way.
It’s proven that being outdoors reduces anger, fear and stress. And that’s not all. It also lowers your blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension and the production of stress hormones. When you travel in nature, you’re disconnected from things like social media, news, phones and computers. Suddenly, your world is much smaller. You could view it as a kind of meditation for your brain.
That doesn’t mean we should meditate in discomfort. I still value comfort and coziness. That means that people who like camping in an RV or luxury tents are still welcome on this site. I look at many products that improve your comfort and I always review the most qualitative items. This way you get the best value for money and the most durable products, which is also good for nature. To me, quality will always stand above quantity simply because it’s better for our planet. I don’t believe in the consumer-society because I feel like we should be respectful towards nature and life.
How can you know that my content is reliable?
I write all the stuff myself. I would also like to review all the products personally, but often this is not possible due to lack of financial means. Luckily for you, I spend hours on the internet looking at other people’s reviews. I take note of them and see which complaints and benefits often occur. I make a list of them and those that are frequent enough, I mention in my article. For guides I use a lot of information from own experience. Of course I check it before I mention it in an article. After that, I do research and look for other things that might be useful for you to know.
I think it’s important to camp safely and thus do it well. Camping and hiking can be dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing or if you are misinformed. Especially if you camp in extreme temperatures. I don’t want to be responsible for accidents or worse. Instead, I want to put you on the right path to a safe and enjoyable camping trip. Fortunately, I love writing these kinds of articles, because I learn a lot of things. If someone has a question about camping or hiking in the future, chances are I would know the answer and could help that person. It’s a win-win situation, I learn new things while writing and get the chance to help people, and you learn while reading my content.
